IGH Solutions is seeking a .NET Programmer/Analyst to join our team.
Position Description:
This position is part of the Application Development team at Card Fulfillment Services and is responsible for developing and supporting desktop applications for managing our card personalization business. Position is primarily responsible for programming, and may also be involved in system support and maintenance; gathering customer requirements; training others; report generation; and integrating new projects and jobs into the system. The role reports directly to the Application Development Supervisor and will work closely under the supervision of the Systems Architect on design elements of development and to provide first class support. Travel up to 10% may be required in this position – destinations may include: southern MN; Las Vegas, NV; Portland, OR; and Paris, France. As part of our large corporate Information Technology organization, you will have excellent opportunities for training, networking, skill development and interaction with other IT professionals in similar roles.
Major Responsibilities include:
Develop solutions that meet the stated requirements
Develop solutions that are reliable and maintainable
Develop solutions that are efficient
Communicate task status, task issues and task concerns to application development team
Works under supervision of senior Application Development members to ensure the developed application integrates smoothly with existing systems
Follows system and process strategies outlined by the Application Development Supervisor and System Architect
Works with Business Unit management and senior level IT resources to identify and document systems solution requirements.
Follows the development methodology, ensuring proper implementation and adoption by the application support team and end users. |

| Education, training, experience: |
Hiring Requirements:
Three years of programming experience including Java/.NET development
A solid understanding and practical use of Microsoft development technologies such as .NET 2.0/3.0, XML, SQL, ADO/ADO.NET, ASP/ASP.NET, COM+, .NET, Object Oriented Development, and Web Services
Experience conducting detailed system analysis, design, and development of current applications and for new development
Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Release Management
Ability to quickly debug applications and identify the root cause of problems
Experience in providing estimates and written requirements for projects
Ability to change multiple priorities and focus daily in a positive manner
Team Foundation Server (TFS) desired
Agile SCRUM experience highly desired
Microsoft BizTalk experience is helpful
Associate of Arts degree in programming or related field with Bachelor’s degree preferred
Superior communication skills, verbal and written
Detail oriented with the ability to step back and view the big picture.
Proven track record of effectively delivering results in a fast paced, flexible environment while managing multiple priorities
