ACR Homes is hiring Direct Care Professionals for a weekday morning shift (6:00am–8:00am, Monday through Friday) in our Andover location. This is a great opportunity for early risers, students, or anyone looking to add meaningful part-time hours to their routine. ACR Homes provides high-quality home healthcare and support for individuals with disabilities across over 40 locations in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

?? What You’ll Do During Morning Shifts

This short but impactful shift focuses on helping residents start their day safely and comfortably:

  • Assist with morning routines including hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Help prepare and serve breakfast
  • Administer morning medications (paid training provided)
  • Support use of medical equipment as needed
  • Ensure accurate documentation of care provided
  • Create a positive, encouraging start to each resident’s day

?? Pay & Compensation

Full-Time: $18.25 – $24.75/hour

  • $18.25–$20.25 (day/evening)
  • $20.50–$22.50 (weekend & weekday overnight)
  • $22.75–$24.75 (weekend overnight – Fri/Sat)
  • Training rate: $16.25/hour

Part-Time: $16.00 – $22.50/hour

  • $16.00–$18.00 (day/evening)
  • $18.25–$20.25 (weekend & weekday overnight)
  • $20.50–$22.50 (weekend overnight – Fri/Sat)
  • Training rate: $14.00/hour

** Range listed above is due to $.50-$2.00/hour House Specific Rate Exception Differentials at specific homes, if applicable.

? What We’re Looking For

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must have a driver’s license and a relatively clean driving record
  • You must be able and willing to provide care for both male and female clients
  • You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • You must be able to work independently, and you must have interpersonal skills including empathy, responsibility, self-control, good judgment, and overall adjustment
  • You must be able to see, hear, speak, interact, and write in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Part-time requires a minimum of 10 shifts/month (2-3 shifts/week) with an increasing number of homes only requiring 2 shifts/week.
  • Full-time employees must work at least 38-40 hours per week
