In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used automobiles, adhering to dealership and manufacturer specifications and time allowances. As a Car Washer with Sears Imported Autos Service Department, your primary responsibilities will revolve around cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Washes vehicle exteriors, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down door jambs.
- Vacuums interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials, following product manufacturer's recommendations.
- Ensures proper use of eye, hand, and body protection when handling specific products.
- Maintains a neat and clean work area.
- Operates tools and equipment safely.
- Reports safety issues promptly to management.
- Manages trash, tires, and participates in shop recycling.
- Adheres to safe driving and speed policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
